Who can join Women in Scrubs?
Women in Scrubs is exclusively for APHRA-registered female surgeons looking to expand their reach and connect with GPs and patients. Our platform is designed to increase equitable referrals and ensure female surgeons are more visible in healthcare.
How does the membership work?
Joining is simple:
- Register your account and create your profile.
- We verify your credentials to ensure all listed surgeons are APHRA-registered.
- Once approved, your profile appears in our directory, making it easy for GPs and patients to find you.
- GPs in your network (based on your location) are specifically targeted for marketing and more generalised marketing from Women in Scrubs.
How will Women in Scrubs help grow my practice?
We connect you with GPs actively looking to refer patients to female surgeons, increasing your visibility and credibility. As a member, you’ll also be featured in our marketing campaigns, giving your practice additional exposure.
As a member of Women In Scrubs, each surgeon receives their own dedicated directory page with a unique URL. This page acts like a mini-website, allowing you to be directly featured in marketing campaigns and easily located or saved by GPs and patients.
For surgeons who don’t yet have a personal website, this functions as a professional, ready-to-use contact page that’s optimised for visibility. It’s also a great asset to promote yourself independently or link to from other platforms. Importantly, having individual pages helps with search engine optimisation (SEO).In short, it’s a smart asset that raises your visibility, credibility, and discoverability online.
Can I update my profile after joining?
Yes! You can edit your details, update your specialties, and ensure your profile stays current at any time through your account dashboard.
What does the membership cost?
